A little preparation.
A much clearer project.
Whether you are replacing existing windows or planning an extension, these details help us understand your home and prepare a useful first quotation.
Start your enquiry ↗1. Photograph each opening
Take a straight-on photograph from inside and outside, with the whole frame visible. Include the floor or sill, any surrounding damage and the route to the opening. For an extension, share the available drawings and photographs of the site.
2. Make a simple opening list
Label each opening by room and add approximate width and height where possible. These dimensions help the initial discussion. Final measurements and responsibility for the order specification must be agreed before manufacture.
3. Describe how the room should work
Tell us about draughts, difficult operation, privacy, ventilation or garden access. For doors, think about opening direction, furniture, available swing space and how the threshold will be used.
4. Choose the details that matter to you
Share your preferred material, frame colour, glazing-bar pattern and handle finish if you know them. If you are unsure, start with photographs and your priorities. We can discuss the options without expecting you to know every system.
5. Explain delivery and installation access
Include parking, steps, narrow paths, upper-floor openings and any limits on working hours. These details help define the fitting scope and delivery arrangements before a price is agreed.
6. Compare the complete quotation
Check the manufacturer and system, dimensions, opening arrangements, glass, ventilation, hardware and finish. Confirm delivery, installation, making good, programme, payment terms and product-specific warranty information.
